高屋永遠《桜時》

私の制作は、「存在とは何か」という問いへの関心と
分かちがたく結び付いています。
私にとって絵画は、目の前に存在する捉え得ぬ無限、
あるいはその無限に反響した生の時間を、
私の知覚が朽ちる前に保管しておくための媒体です。
私にとって生の時間は直線的なものではなく、
常に循環し、反響し、再生するものなのです。
存在の背後に潜む深淵を、
色彩を通していかに形而下に留めるか。
その探究のために、私は色彩と知覚の実験を繰り返し、
平面表現を独自に試行し続けます。　ー高屋永遠

My work is inseparably linked to my interest in the question,
“How the world exists.” For me, painting is a way of
looking at the elusive infinity that exists in front of me,
or at the time of life that echoes that infinity.
It is a medium to preserve my perception before it decays.
For me, lifetime is not linear, but always circulates,
reverberates, and regenerates.
How can I hold the abyss that lies behind existence
metaphysically through experience of colors?
To explore this question,
I repeatedly experiment with color and perception,
and continue to experiment with planar expression
in my own peculiar way.　ーTowa TAKAYA

1992年東京都生まれ。2012年ロンドン芸術大学
セントラル・セントマーティンズ カレッジ修了。
2015年ロンドン大学ゴールドスミスカレッジ卒業。
2023年Lurf Museum（東京）などにて個展多数。
2022年「Fine Art Collection」（松坂屋名古屋店 / 愛知）、
「Diverse Paintings」（西武渋谷店 / 東京）、
「What Cafe×WHYNOT.TOKYO Exhibition」（What Cafe /
東京）、「Connecting Dots」（Galeria Azur / ベルリン）、
「ASYAAF&Hidden Artists Festival」（弘益大学校現代美術館 /
ソウル）、2023年「Chroma Distance」（ポーラ ミュージアム
アネックス / 東京）などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。
