植田爽介《imagine -FLY-》

鑑賞者を巨視的な視点に誘うジオラマのような小さな仮想都市の
立体・平面作品から、逆に鑑賞者をミクロ化したかのように
体感させる空間全体を使った展示方法まで、
鑑賞者の縮尺感覚を揺さぶる作品・空間づくりを得意とする。
作品制作の過程と実践においては、
自身の原風景である瀬戸内の海景がそうであるように、
人と自然が並列に共生する関係性について再考し、
それを版画技法や複製技術におけるインダストリアルな側面や、
マテリアルごとに生じる視覚的な差異などを糸口として
ビジュアル化することを試みている。 ー植田爽介

I am good at creating works and spaces that shake the viewer’s
sense of scale, such as works of virtual cities like dioramas that invite
the viewer to take a macroscopic perspective, and exhibition methods
that use the entire space to make the viewers feel as if they have been
microscopically reduced. In my work, I reconsider the relationship
between people and nature in parallel and symbiosis, as
in the seascapes of my hometown in the Seto Inland Sea. Then
attempt to visualize this relationship by using the industrial aspects of
printmaking and reproduction techniques, and the visual differences
that arise from different materials, as clues. 　ーSosuke UETA

1994年香川県生まれ。2016年多摩美術大学美術学部
絵画学科版画専攻卒業。2017年ブラティスラヴァ美術大学
に交換留学。2019年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科
絵画専攻修了。2021年令和3年度文化庁新進芸術家
海外研修制度によりサンタフェ（ニューメキシコ）に滞在。
2018年「Diving into the Perceptual Sea」（BUoY / 東京）、
2019年「(whereabouts of the) ANIMA」（Taku Sometani Gallery /
東京）、2021年「Experiment Ⅳ」（DiEGO表参道 / 東京）
など個展多数。2022年「The point of truth,
beauty and knowledge」（Künstlerhaus Dortmund / ドイツ）
などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。
