狼の世界を染色で描いています。
反物やシルクの布に手書きで一本ずつ染めていくことで狼の毛を描きます。これは紅型染を応用したオリジナルの技法です。作品によっては染色用の刷毛を使ったり、型染めや金彩といった伝統技法も使用します。最近は絵画的な要素を強めるために、胡粉を使用した盛り上げや金彩も施しています。
狼は、日本では縁起がいい生き物であると伝承され、優しく、賢く、愛情深く、気高さをもつ生き物です。
布の持つ柔らかさと染色の持つ風合いを通して、自然や人間と共存するその生き様を表現しています。
I draw the world of wolves with dyeing. The wolf’s fur is drawn by hand dyeing one by one on antiqued or silk cloth. This is an original technique applied to Bingata dyeing. Depending on the work, I use dye brushes or traditional techniques such as Katazome (stencil dyeing) and Kinsai (gold paint). Recently, in order to strengthen the pictorial element, I also use Gofun for impasto and gold paint.
Wolfs, which have been passed down in Japan as a creature of good fortune, are gentle, wise, loving, and noble. Through the softness of the cloth and the texture of the dyeing process, the work expresses the wolf’s way of life in coexistence with nature and humans.

2014年女子美術大学短期大学部造形学科テキスタイル研究生修了。
2021年「泡色の霧」（Gallery花影抄 / 東京）、2022年「望郷の歌」（八犬堂 / 東京）など個展多数。
