1982年神奈川県生まれ。
2008年文化服装学院卒業、横編機メーカーの島精機製作所に入社。2014年 株式会社 糸を立ち上げ独立、東京を拠点にニットコンサルタントとして活動。2015年ニットアート制作を開始し、2021年より本格的にニットアート作家として活動を開始。2023年「sympathy for the knitmaniac」（tHE GALLERY HARAJUKU / 東京）など個展多数。
2023年「vol.4 文化の端っこ。×2」（日本橋アナーキー文化センター / 東京）、2024年「SIMULATIONISM」（YOD TOKYO）などグループ展に多数参加。
Born in Kanagawa in 1982.
Graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 2008 and joined flat knitting machine manufacture company, SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. Founded ito Inc. in 2014 and started working as a knit consultant based in Tokyo. Started creating knit art in 2015 and became a knit art artist in earnest from 2021.

Statement
編み始めから編み終わりまで1本の糸でループを作りながら編まれる生地「ニット」。その歴史は紀元前1世紀のエジプトまで遡るとも云われ、昔と変わらない構造のまま、現代では当たり前に存在している素材。その当たり前の素材が編み上げられていく工程を「時間（時の流れ）」と解釈し、ちょうど10代の自分が体験した1990年代〜2000年初期のアナログからデジタルへ変化していく時代をサンプリングしてニットの中に表現している。デジタルで複数の色を細かくランダムに羅列し、距離をとって見ると全体像が認識できるグラフィカルなデザインは、アナログで作成されたニットがデジタルに見える仕掛け。デジタルとアナログを行き来するような表現で観る人にバグを起こさせることができれば本望です。
“Knit” is a fabric that is knitted by making loops with a single thread from the beginning to the end of the knitting process. The history of knitwear is said to date back to Egypt in the 1st century BC, and it is an ordinary material today, with remaining the same structure as in the past. I interpret the process of this ordinary material being knitted as “time (flow of time),” and expressing the period of change from analog to digital that I experienced as a teenager in the 1990s and early 2000s. The whole image of the graphical design, in which multiple colors are digitally enumerated in a detailed and random manner, can be recognized when viewed from a distance, which makes the analog knitwear look digital. It is my desire to create a “bug” to the viewer with my expression that goes back and forth between digital and analog.
