Profile

1995年埼玉県生まれ。
2022年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科デザイン専攻修了。
2019年「やにわに華」（フジヰ画廊 / 東京）、2020年「ふくはうち」（B-gallery / 東京）、2021年「宵より灯る」（Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO / 東京）など個展多数。
2022年「四美神」（八犬堂ギャラリー / 東京）、2023年「アートのチカラ」（新宿伊勢丹本館 / 東京）などグループ展多数。
2016年第11回藝大アートプラザ大賞準大賞、2018年美術新人賞デビューグランプリ、2020年東京藝術大学卒業・修了作品展平成藝術賞など受賞多数。

Born in Saitama in 1995.
Received MFA in design from Tokyo University of the Arts.

Statement

物事にまつわるさまざまな言い伝えや縁起物、人物などをモチーフとして、「人の幸福」をテーマの主軸に制作しています。そして、その世界を表現するためのモデルとして女の子を描きます。なぜなら、人の表情は繊細で、ときに美しく、面白く、醜く、そして素直ですが、女の子は表情の変化がわかりやすく、柔らかい表情を作り出すところに魅力を感じるからです。制作する上で第一に心がけているのは、私の作品が人々にポジティブに伝わるようにすることです。
大昔から人々は、モノや出来事に意味を求め、意味付けをしてきましたが、国や文化によっては、同じものでも異なる意味が生じることもあります。そうした矛盾も含め、意味が多様であれば、受け取り方も自由であると考え、私は物事にまつわる縁起物や花言葉からポジティブな意味を拾い、独自に組み合わせることで、さらなる「福」を作り出したいと願っています。今後は、人の幸福のあり方をさらに追求し、広く表現していきたいと思っております。

My creation is focusing on “human happiness” as its theme, taking various traditional things, legends and legendary persons as its motives. Girls are the models because, although human facial expressions are delicate, changes of their expressions are detectable and their tender faces are attractive. My first priority is showing my works positive. While people have been seeking meanings for things and events from ancient times, there might be different meanings for the same thing depending on the country or the culture. I hope to create more happiness by picking up positive meanings from them while seeking and expressing human happiness.
