1994年奈良県生まれ。
2017年大阪芸術大学デザイン学科卒業。
グラフィックデザイナーを経て、作家に転身。
2019年「Independent Tokyo」（スパイラル / 東京）、 2020年「Monster Exhibition」（渋谷ヒカリエ / 東京）、 2021年「Artist New Gate 最終審査展」(Gallery Seek / 東京)、 「いい芽ふくら芽 in Tokyo」（松坂屋上野店 / 東京）、 「SICF22」（スパイラル / 東京）、 2022年「KOWAII展 vol.Ⅻ」（新井画廊 / 東京）、 「Monster Exhibition」（Galerie Grand E’terna / パリ） などグループ展に多数参加。
Statement
人類を人類たらしめるものは何でしょうか。
私は空想する能力だと考えます。
空想力があるからこそ多種多様な意思疎通ができ、ひいてはそれが芸術や信仰へとつながっていったのだと。
しかし近年、われわれ現代人はその空想力が落ちてきていると感じます。
原因はテクノロジーの発展などさまざまでしょうが、これは昨今見かける芸術作品においても同様のことが言えそうです。
そこで私は古代の人類が生み出し、われわれ現代人が忘れてしまった「芸術」の根源を、そして「空想力」を取り戻すことができるような作品を目指し、古代の風習や信仰をテーマに制作しています。
また、制作の傍ら、遺跡発掘の仕事にも携わっており、今後は考古学的観点から捉えたシリーズにも挑戦しようと考えています。ー羽田野令也
What is it that makes us human?
I believe it is the ability to imagine.
It is this ability to imagine that has enabled us to communicate with each other in a variety of ways, which in turn has led to art and faith.
However, in recent years, I feel that we modern people have lost the ability to imagine.
The reason for this may be due to various factors such as the development of technology, but the same can be said for the works of art that we see these days.
Therefore, I have been creating works on the theme of ancient customs and beliefs, with the aim of recovering the root of art and the power of imagination that was created by ancient humans and forgotten by us, modern people.
In addition to creating works, I am also involved in excavating archaeological sites, and I plan to try my hand at a series of works from an archaeological point of view.ーReiya HATANO
