1989年島根県生まれ。
2013年多摩美術大学絵画科油画専攻卒業。
2024年「multiverse」（石川画廊 / 東京）、
「POSTER ART EXHIBITION」（GReeD TOKYO）、
「Dutch Auction “ART NOW vol.4”」（銀座 蔦屋書店 / 東京）、「A2A JAPAN Competition 2024」（渋谷ヒカリエ / 東京）などグループ展多数。

Born in Shimane in 1989.
Graduated from Tama Art University majored in Oil Painting Course in 2013.

Statement

祖父が神主、祖母が住職の家系に生まれたため、幼少期より神道や仏教が身近な環境で育ちました。後にアニメーターとなる従兄弟の影響で絵を描き始めた私は、アニメと江戸絵画に共通点を見出しました。
そこで、日本の伝統的な材料とエアブラシやアクリル絵の具などの現代の技術を融合させながら、東洋圏で縁起物として用いられる動物をモチーフに現代における江戸絵画を描いています。 代表作である虎のシリー ズは「力」の象徴としてさまざまな厄災に立ち向かう精神を表し、鑑賞者を鼓舞する存在として描いています。

As I was born to a family where grandfather was a Shinto priest and grandmother was a priest of a Buddhist temple, I grew up in an environment where Shinto and Buddhism were familiar. Influenced by my cousin, who later became an animator, I started painting and found similarities between anime and edo painting. I paint modern edo paintings with motifs of animals which are considered to be lucky charms in the East, using traditional and modern painting materials together. In the tiger series, which is one of my representative works, I paint a tiger as a symbol of power which fights against various disasters and encourages viewers.
