長野県生まれ。 ロンドン芸術大学セントラル・セントマーティンズ カレッジ卒業、ロンドン大学ゴールドスミスカレッジ修了、ロイヤルカレッジオブアート修了。

Born in Nagano. Graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London. Completed Goldsmiths, University of London and Royal College of Art.

Statement

プロダンサーとしての経歴を持ち、身体と空間の関わりを探究するために渡英。ロンドン芸術大学セントラル・セント・マーチンズで舞台芸術を学び、ロンドン大学ゴールドスミス・カレッジで哲学を修め、ロイヤルカレッジ・オブ・アートの情報体験デザイン修士を首席卒。ロンドンバタシー公園にて野外パブリック彫刻を設置。 哲学・民俗学的なアプローチから音・光・空気といったエネルギーの可視化、テクノロジーとアイデンティティ・身体の関係性をテーマにインスタレーション・立体・映像など様々なメディアで表現する。Victoria and Albert Museum等、パフォーマーとしても活動。日本とイギリスを拠点。

With a background as a professional dancer, I moved to England to explore the relationship between the body and space. I studied performing arts, philosophy, and information design. I have been working with various media including installation, sculpture, and video on the theme of the relationship between technology, identity, and the body, and the visualization of energy in the form of sound, light, and air from a philosophical and ethnographic approach. Also works as a performer. Based in Japan and the UK.
