1994年埼玉県生まれ。
2022年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科絵画専攻修了。
2022年Taku Sometani Gallery（東京）などにて個展多数。
2022年「MoCAF」（フィリピン）、 「can (not) reach」（Eukaryote / 東京）、 「Meet Your Art Festival」（恵比寿ガーデンプレイス / 東京） などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。
2019年東京藝術大学大学院O氏記念賞受賞、2020年 クマ財団第4期奨学生、2022年佐藤国際文化育英財団奨学生。 東京藝術大学大学美術館、 株式会社コイルセンターフジタに作品収蔵。
Statement
昨今、加速度的にオンライン化が普及したことで人とオンラインで対面する機会が増加した。
モニターや端末越しの非直接的なコミュニケーションでは、対象が克明に見えているようで、そこには実態が伴わず、限定的・多層的な感覚体験が増えたと感じる。
そこで私はインターネット時代の利便性と表裏一体で存在する「直接性の欠落したさまざまな隔たり」を意識して、技法や材料を研究し、絵画と彫刻を制作している。
私は自身の作品を通じて実体験が欠落し現実感が希薄となった現代特有の感覚を提示したい。ー川端健太
The recent accelerated spread of online communication has led to an increase in opportunities to meet face-to-face with people online.
Non-direct communication through monitors and terminals may seem to conclusively show us the object, but it is not accompanied by the actual situation, and I feel that the number of limited and multi-layered sensory experiences has increased.
Therefore, I research techniques and materials and create paintings and sculptures with an awareness of the various gaps lacking directness that exist inextricably linked to the convenience of the Internet age.
Through my work, I would like to present such a sense specific to the present age.ーKenta KAWABATA
