Profile

岩手県生まれ。
2012年都内の教室でオートクチュール刺繍を学び、2013年刺繍職人として、都内のアトリエにて制作に携わる。2022年より本格的に作品発表を始める。2024年個展開催「たゆたう時」（Quadrivium Ostium / 神奈川）。2022年「SICF23」（スパイラル / 東京）、「カタル×てしごと –CRAFT MANIA–」（伊勢丹新宿店 / 東京）、2023年「インテリアライフスタイル2023」（東京ビッグサイト）、「Spiral Xmas Market 2023」（スパイラル / 東京）、2024年「Lighting up my Day.」（スパイラル / 東京）、「Independent Tokyo 2024」（東京ポートシティ竹芝）などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。

Born in Iwate.
Learned haute couture embroidery at a class in Tokyo, in 2012, and started working at an atelier in Tokyo as an embroiderer in 2013. Started to present works from 2022.

Statement

私はオートクチュール刺繍を学び、刺繡職人として培った経験を基に刺繡作家としての活動を始めました。しかし「刺繍」という枠組みに囚われたくないという思いもあり、刺繡職人としての技術を応用しながらも、ガラスビーズなどを素材としたガラス工芸作品の制作を試みてきました。そうした試行錯誤の中から生まれたのが、「刺繍=平面」という枠組みからの解放をコンセプトとした立体作品である「壁掛けオブジェ」シリーズです。飾る場所や時間帯によって刻々と変化する影の様子もお楽しみいただけますと幸いです。

After I learned Haute Couture Embroidery and gained experience as an embroiderer, I started my career as an embroidery artist. With the aim to be freed from the framework of “embroidery”, I’ve tried to create glass crafts with materials like glass beads, applying the techniques of embroiderer. Through that process “the wall-hanging object” series, which are three-dimensional artworks with a concept of liberation from the framework of “embroidery = two dimensional”, was born. I hope viewers will notice and enjoy the transformation of the silhouettes of my artworks, which differs where and when they see them.
