1992年東京都生まれ。
2022年東京藝術大学大学院日本画専攻博士号取得。
2022年「和田宙土 ―縺れの肖像―」（愛でるギャラリー祝 / 東京）、「和田宙土展 ―縺れの小影―」（Shibayama Art Gallery / 東京）、2023年「赤がまだ鮮やかなうちは」（MEDEL Gallery shu / 東京）など個展多数。
2021年「Memento Mori ～死を想え、今を生きよ～」（藝大アートプラザ / 東京）、2023年「Art Sticker Selection」（代官山 蔦屋書店 / 東京）、「Art Central Hong Kong」（香港会議展覧中心 / 香港）などグループ展、アートフェア多数。2022年 muni Art Award 審査員賞受賞。

Statement

私は水中に落ちていく墨の模様が偶然人の形を成した瞬間を撮影し、その写真をもとに絵画で再構築しています。人の形に見える瞬間は一瞬であり、次の瞬間にはただの淀みに変わり、やがて水中全体も透明から灰色一色となります。万物の理を示すようなこの現象の最も象徴的な瞬間を絵画作品として残すことで、その瞬間を永遠に引き延ばすことができるのです。そしてこれこそが、自分の追及すべきテーマであると感じています。

I photograph the moment when ink falls into the water and appears as a human figure, and I reconstruct it into paintings. The human figured ink vanishes instantly into stagnant water and the clear water changes grey. By preserving the most symbolic moment of this phenomenon, which is as it is a representation of the universal law, in a form of paintings, it is possible to elongate this moment eternally. I believe this is the theme I should pursue.
