Profile

1995年京都府生まれ。
2018年京都精華大学芸術学部絵画コース日本画学科卒業。
2022年「踊る精霊たち」（星ヶ丘三越 / 愛知）、2023年「The Green Table」（KUNST ARZT / 京都）、2024年「踊りは語る Dance speaks」（恵比寿ガーデンプレイス Tsutaya Bookstore / 東京）など個展多数。
2023年「ballet meets art」（Katsuya Susuki Gallery / 東京）、2024年「WHAT CAFE EXHIBITON vol.36」（WHAT CAFE / 東京）、「ショウドウテキムーブメント」（Gallery Heptagon / 京都）、「ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO」などグループ展、アートフェア多数。

Born in Kyoto in 1995.
Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, majored in Nihonga in 2018.

Statement

バレエや日本舞踊、フィギュアスケートなどの踊りや動きを、動画のコマ送りのように捉え、日本画材で描いています。どの踊りにも歴史、文化的背景や、意味があります。私はそれぞれの踊りの成り立ちや、振り付けに込められたメッセージを理解するために取材を行っています。そこで得た自分ならではの解釈に基づき、モチーフによって表現や構成を変えて制作しています。私は、その画面の中に人々が踊りに込めた祈りや想いを描きたいと思っています。

I depict dances and movements of ballet, Japanese traditional dance, and figure skating as a frame-by-frame video with nihonga materials. Every dance has some historical and cultural meanings and backgrounds. I research the formation of each dance and choreography so that I can understand messages embedded in it. Based on the interpretation I gained by myself, I create my works changing the way of expression and composition depending on motives. I hope I can portray prayers and wishes people have put into the dance.
