1985年大阪府生まれ。
2011年大阪芸術大学大学院芸術研究科博士課程前期修了。
個展多数開催。2016年 Masterpiece London Art Fair（Katie Jones Japan Gallery / イギリス）などアートフェアやグループ展に多数参加。2015年 UNKNOWN ASIA Art Exchange Osakaレビュアー松尾良一賞、2023年 WATOWA ART AWARD 高橋 隆史賞など受賞多数。2016年 Concorso Arte Milanoファイナリスト、2022年 KAIKA TOKYO AWARD入選。
2015年アマン東京に作品設置。

Statement

環境アセスメントの調査員であり野鳥研究者であった父の死と東日本大震災を契機に、私自身を含めた現代社会が直面する問題として環境問題に着眼しています。私達の生きる時代が含まれる、新時代区分“人新世”の期間、特に産業革命以後の200年間において、人の行為がもたらした環境破壊と気候変動は地球に致命的な影響を与えています。そして放射能汚染は私たちの目前にあり続けています。黒い雨や世界中で燃え続ける山火事、大雨、 自然災害のイメージを現代の風景画として作品にしています。絵画は虚構であり、現実へと続く物語でもあります。そして現実を再考し、世界の在り方をより深く理解していけるものであると考えています。

After my father’s death, who was an environmental assessment researcher and a wild bird researcher, and the Great East Japan Earthquake, I have been focusing on environmental issues. During the “Anthropocene,” especially 200 years after the industrial revolution, the environmental destruction and climate change that human activities have brought has a fatal impact on the Earth. Radiation pollution continues to be right  in front of us. I paint the images of  black rain, wildfires burning all over the world, flood, and natural disasters abstractly as a contemporary landscape. Paintings are fictional but also the story that leads to reality. I believe it helps us to reconsider reality and to gain a deeper understanding of the way the world should be.
