Profile
1995年東京都生まれ。
台湾人の祖父を持ち、幼少期をフランスで過ごす。3歳で画家を志す。多摩美術大学日本画専攻卒業。大学卒業後はネパールでチベット仏画師に師事。
2023年「命の輝き」（大丸札幌店 / 北海道）、「宇宙に最も近い深海」（Gallery Q / 東京）など個展多数。グループ展に多数参加。受賞多数。
2016年第34回上野の森美術館大賞展入選、2018～2019年日動画廊昭和会展入選、2021年Artist Group -風- 第10回展入賞、2024年Artist New Gateファイナリストなど入選多数。
Born in Tokyo in 1995.
Has a Taiwanese grandfather and spent childhood in France. Decided to become an artist at the age of 3.
Graduated from Tama Art University, majored in Nihonga. After graduation, studied under a Tibetan Buddhist painter in Nepal.
Solo exhibitions: 2023 “Inochi no kagayaki” Daimaru Sapporo (Hokkaido) , “Sora ni mottomo chikai umi” Gallery Q (Tokyo) and more. Participated in many group exhibitions.
Won many prizes. Selected for 2016 The 34th Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition, 2018 – 2019 Showakaiten, 2021 Artist Group – Kaze – exhibition, 2024 finalist of Artist New Gate and more.
Statement
私は観る人に生きる活力を与えられる作品を制作したい。ネパールと京都で曼荼羅、仏画を学んだ経験から、アジア的な考え方や哲学に、新しい時代を生きるヒントを発見することができた。特に「氣」の概念や、生きとし生けるもの全てに仏が宿るとする「一切衆生悉有仏性」の考えに深く感銘を受け、それを絵で表現している。それは動物も、植物も、あなた自身の命も等しく大切で慈しむべきであるという生命讃歌だ。驚くべき色形や生態を持つ魚や鳥たちは、私にとって人智を超えた興味深く崇敬すべき対象であるため、私は彼らを主なモチーフとして描く。和紙や岩絵具、金箔といった自然由来の画材を用いており、地球のかけらで地球を描くことに強い意味を感じている。私は「日本人である前にアジア人である」という強い意識を持つ。現代を生きるアジア人アーティストとして得た答えを絵で表現し、人々とともに考えていきたい。
My aim is to create artworks that provide viewers the energy to live. Through my experience of studying mandala and Buddhist painting in Nepal and Kyoto, I discovered tips for living in the new age in Asian ideas and philosophies. I express the concept of “chi” and the idea of “all sentient beings are Buddhas” in my paintings which I was particularly and deeply impressed with. It is a hymn to life expressing animals, plants, and your own life are equally important and should be cherished. For me, the fishes and birds that are my main motif, are attractive and beings to be worshiped which are beyond human understanding, having amazing colors, shapes, and ecology. I use naturally derived painting materials, such as Japanese paper, mineral pigments, and gold leaf, feeling a strong meaning in painting the earth with pieces of the earth. As an “Asian artist” living today, I would like to express the answers I have obtained through my paintings and think about them with people.
