東京都生まれ。2012年アカデミー・オブ・アート大学彫刻科（サンフランシスコ）卒業。
在学中「Spring Show」でCeramic部門1位受賞、サンフランシスコ動物園で公共アート制作。2012年「Oakwilde Ranch’s 5th Annual Spring Sculpture Show」でBest of Show受賞。
以降、国内外で多数展示を行い、西武渋谷店（2018・2019）、京都蔦屋書店（2024）、GINZA SIX（2025）などで個展。2022年NHK WORLD NEWS特集放映。2023年中国深圳で個展開催。2025年J-WAVE + FM COCOLO×京都芸術大学特別番組「WHAT’S ART 2025」出演。同年『VOGUE JAPAN × Dior』特集に選出。

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Sculpture program, Academy of Art University (San Francisco) in 2012.
While in school, received First Place in the Ceramic category at the “Spring Show” and created a public artwork for the San Francisco Zoo. In the same year, won Best of Show at “Oakwilde Ranch’s 5th Annual Spring Sculpture Show.”
Since then, has exhibited extensively in Japan and abroad, holding solo exhibitions at Seibu Shibuya (2018, 2019), Kyoto TSUTAYA BOOKS (2024), and GINZA SIX (2025). Featured on NHK WORLD NEWS in 2022, held a solo exhibition in Shenzhen, China in 2023, and appeared in the special radio program “WHAT’S ART 2025” (J-WAVE + FM COCOLO × Kyoto University of the Arts) in 2025. The same year, selected for the VOGUE JAPAN × Dior feature.

Statement

私の作品は、「時間の経過」「伝統技術の継承」「人間存在の曖昧さ」といったテーマを軸にしています。
代表作である等身大の陶磁人体彫刻では、生命の痕跡や精神性を永続するかたちとして陶に刻むことを試みています。
また、美濃の伝統技法「ガバいこみ」を現代的に再解釈した器シリーズでは、「使う器」と「観る彫刻」の境界を問い直す作品を展開しています。
近年は《もののけ魂》シリーズに取り組み、人工物と自然物の融合によって、人間の存在の矛盾や曖昧さ、そして自然との関係性を表現しています。
私は、伝統と革新、精神と物質、工芸と美術といった二項の「あわい（狭間）」にこそ、今の表現の可能性があると信じ、制作を続けています。

My work centers on themes such as the “passage of time,” the “inheritance of traditional techniques,” and the “ambiguity of human existence.” In my signature series of “Lifelike Human Body Sculptures,” I attempt to inscribe traces of life and spirituality into clay as a lasting form. My vessel series, which reinterprets the traditional Mino technique of “Gabaikomi” in a contemporary context, explores the boundary between “functional pottery” and “sculptural art.”
In recent years, I have been working on the Mononoke Spirit series, expressing the contradictions and ambiguities of human existence, as well as our relationship with nature, through the fusion of the artificial and the natural.
I believe that the true potential of artistic expression lies in the in-between—the space where tradition meets innovation, spirit meets matter, and craft meets art—and I continue to create with that conviction.
