Profile

1993年千葉県生まれ。2020年に会社員より画家に転身。
2024年「MIO OHASHI Solo Exhibition: ZEN presented by BEAMS CULTUART」（B GALLERY / 東京）、g KEYAKIZAKA（東京）、「大橋澪 作品展」（銀座三越 / 東京）など個展多数。
2021年between the arts gallery（東京）、2022年「100人10・2022」（東京ミッドタウン）などグループ展に多数参加。
2022年シンガポール国立美術館にて作品展示。ヒルトン沖縄宮古島リゾート、クチーナ 代官山ショールーム、cattelan italia TOKYOなどに作品収蔵。

Born in Chiba in 1993. Left a corporate career to become a painter in 2020.

Statement

私は、学生時代の半分をオランダとロンドンで過ごし、ヨーロッパと日本の文化に影響を受けてきました。ヨーロッパで光と大気の揺らぎや水平線の広がりに学ぶ一方で、日本では仏教や茶道、剣道を通じて禅の思想に触れました。こうした経験は、作品における「静けさ」「余白」「普遍性」として表れています。代表作「BORDERLESS」シリーズは、境界が消え一体となる瞬間をテーマに、空や地平線を描いた抽象画です。光や時間、見る人の心境により多様に変化し、その人だけの絵画となります。

I spent half of my student years in the Netherlands and London, where I was influenced by both European and Japanese cultures. In Europe, I learned from the fluctuations of light and atmosphere and the vastness of the horizon, while in Japan, I encountered Zen philosophy through Buddhism, the tea ceremony, and kendo. These experiences manifest in my work as elements of stillness, emptiness, and universality.
My signature series, BORDERLESS, is an abstract body of work themed around the moment when boundaries dissolve and become one. Depicting skies and horizons, each painting transforms with light, time, and the viewer’s state of mind, becoming a unique work of art for each person who beholds it.
