Profile
1985年埼玉県生まれ。2004年より数多くの著名な日本人建築家のもとでインターンとして経験を積み、2013年渡仏し1年半パリの建築事務所で学ぶ。2014年帰国し、現代美術家杉本博司に師事。2015年アトリエ長谷川匠を設立。
2017年「BLACK AND LIGHT」（Cafe ABSINTHE / 大阪）、「LIGHT AND BLACK」（Art Tower / タイ）、2019年「SENSATION」（VINGT VINS D’ART / フランス）など個展多数。
2019年「DEVIATION」（ART FOR THOUGHT / 東京）、「RONDO」（ICS / 東京）などグループ展多数。
Born in Saitama in 1985. Gained experience through internships with numerous renowned Japanese architects starting in 2004. Moved to France and spent a year and a half studying at an architectural firm in Paris in 2013. Returned to Japan in 2014 and studied under contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto. Established Atelier Takumi Hasegawa in 2015.

Statement
建築家としての活動には、スケジュールやコスト・素材、そしてクライアントなどの制約があり、個人としての作品の純粋な表現はとても難しい。そのすべての制約から離れ、自由に表現できるような状態をキャンバスに表現したいと思い、絵の具を手に取った。そして、すべてに対してのストレスや怒りをキャンパスにぶつけ、アクションペイントで出来あがったキャンバス上のハプニングや偶然的な必然性を表現している。
To work as an architect means constantly facing constraints of schedules, budgets, materials, and clients, making it difficult to achieve pure personal expression. Seeking freedom from all those constraints and a state where I could express myself freely, I turned to the canvas and picked up my paints. I channel all my stress and anger onto the canvas, expressing through action painting the happenings and the inevitable coincidences that emerge on its surface.
