1987年高知県生まれ。
2013年東京造形芸術大学大学院芸術表現専攻修士課程修了。
2021年「mtk + vol.1 竹内義博」（.s / 京都）、2023年「竹内義博展」（t.gallery / 東京）など個展開催。
2024年「STUDIOHAIDENBAN exhibition」（阪急メンズ大阪）、「東 京都展 The Echoes of East Kyoto」（WHAT CAFE / 東京）、「art bit -Contemporary Art & Indie Game Culture -#4」（Gallery 9.5 / 京都）、「HANKYU ART FAIR」（阪急うめだ本店 / 大阪）、「ART FAIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2024」（福岡国際センター）などグループ展、アートフェア多数。

Statement

私にとって絵画とは、絵の具という物質とイメージを交わらせ、見慣れた世界を再創造する作業です。私は、デジタルツールを用いて社会の中に流通するイメージを再構築し、その上に絵の具を重ねることで、意図と偶然が混ざり合った「かたち」が集積された作品を制作しています。そしてこのプロセスを通じて、意識の輪郭に迫り、現実と仮想という概念を考察したいと思っています。私は物質とイメージ、デジタルとアナログ、意図と偶然といった相反する要素を作品に内包することで、鑑賞者によって作品が多様に解釈されることを願っています。。

I recreate a familiar world by mixing paints and images. After reconstructing the prevailing images among our society using digital tools, I layer paints to create artworks that are an accumulation of “forms” which are a mixture of intention and coincidence. Through this process, I try to approach the outline of consciousness and to consider the ideas of real and virtual. I hope my works containing contrary factors, like matters and images, digital and analog or intentions and coincidences, would be interpreted in a variety of ways by each viewer.
