1998年北海道生まれ。
2021年沖縄県立芸術大学卒業。
現在、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科絵画専攻に在籍。
2022年個展開催「Title Role」（Rise Gallery / 東京）。
2021年「 Shibuya Style vol.15」（西武渋谷店 / 東京)、 2022年「Beyond 〈Japan Modern Art Exhibition〉」 （333gallery / 台湾)、 「Kuma Exhibition 2022」（ANB Tokyo） などグループ展多数。

Statement

sumaの作品は、いくつものイメージと情報がレイヤーとして複雑に重なりながら構成されている。
（中略）ポップにデフォルメされた動物や文字の表現は、海外アニメーションやグラフィティーなどsuma自身が親しんできたものと リンクしているという。
強いメッセージを大々的に謳うより、身近にあるものや世の中の流れを切り取って、大衆にとって親しみやすいものとして提示することで何かを感じ取ってもらいたいという姿勢の表れだ。　ー沓名美和

suma’s works are composed of a number of images and information that are intricately layered.
(…) His pop deformed animals and letters are linked to his own familiarity with foreign animation and graffiti.
This is an expression of his attitude of wanting people to feel something by taking something familiar and current and presenting it in a way that is easy for the public to relate to, rather than making a broad statement with a strong message.　ーMiwa Kutsuna
