堀川由梨佳《Bridge-Balance Cloud-PG-》

“occhan”は「人」（ユニセックス）のアクティビティを表しているモティーフです。
人は微妙なバランスを取りながら生きていると感じているため、人の思考の
イメージを象徴するものとして雲なども制作のモティーフに取り入れています。
作品に現れるボーダーやストライプ模様は、中世の貴族社会においては
軽んじられながらも、人々との橋渡し役として必要不可欠な
存在であった道化師や隔離された囚人などの象徴でした。
このように私の作品の背景となるものには、現在では
その形や意味を変えていても社会問題に端を
発したものや負の要素も含まれていますが、
それらを昇華し、人が垣間見せる明るさ・楽しさを
アートとして発信し続けています。ー堀川由梨佳

“occhan” is a motif that represents human (unisex) activity.
I feel that people live in a delicate balance,
so I also incorporate motifs such as clouds
in my work to symbolize the image of human thought.
The borders and stripes I use in my work were
symbols of clowns and isolated prisoners, who were
despised in the aristocratic society of the Middle Ages,
but were indispensable as a bridge between people.
Thus, the background of my work includes negative elements
and those originating from social problems, even though
they have changed their form and meaning today.
I sublimate these elements and continue to transmit
people’s brightness and joy as art. ーYurika HORIKAWA

1988年兵庫県生まれ。2011年京都精華大学芸術学部
造形学科洋画専攻卒業。2022年「People≒○○」
（ジルダールギャラリー / 愛知）など個展多数。
2017年「Fine Art Universiade U-35」（茨城県つくば美術館）、
2021年「What Cafe Pop Up Show
with tremolo~24molos~」（What Cafe / 東京）、
2022年「One Art Taipei」（台湾）、「Art Osaka」「art Kyoto」
などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。
2015年毎日新聞兵庫県版の「Fメール」コーナーに記事掲載。
2016年絵の具「てのひらえのぐ しろくまくん」制作協力。
2019年外務省企画映像出演、G7サミットにて放映。
