シシヤマザキ《Face Face 33_1》

シシピンクと呼ばれる独特のピンク色を多用しながら、
独自の表現方法として確立した水彩画風の
手描きロトスコープアニメーションの手法を使って
自分自身を描いています。
今回は希少性の高い白磁製の大型のつぼと
大皿を制作し、そこに転写技法で絵付けを施しました。
作陶で土をこねる時の身体性と、
アニメーション制作で筆を使う時の身体性を
融合することで生まれる「踊りを造形する」ような感覚を
自画像の3連作にも反映しています。ーシシヤマザキ

I draw myself using a watercolor-style hand-drawn
rotoscoped animation technique that
I have established as my own method of expression
while making extensive use of
a unique pink color called“ ShiShi-pink.”
This time, I produced a large white porcelain jar
and platter, which are very rare,
and painted them with a transfer technique.
The sense o“f sculpting a dance” created by
combining the physicality of kneading clay in porcelain
making and the physicality of using a brush
in animation production is reflected

1989年神奈川県生まれ。2015年東京藝術大学大学院
映像研究科アニメーション専攻修了。CHANEL、
PRADAや資生堂などのプロモーションイメージを制作。
オリジナルアニメーション「YA – SEN a Go Go 」、
「やますき、やまざき」は国内外のフェスティバルにて
上映多数。2010年より毎日一個の顔を作るプロジェクト
「MASK」を継続するなど彼女の作風は幅広い世代から
支持を受けている。2016年陶芸制作開始、
2019年より栃木県益子町を拠点に活動。
2022年日本橋三越本店（東京）にて陶芸作品のPOP UPを開催。
2018年Forbes 30 Under 30 Asiaに選出。
